The blue revolution

Diesel has recently announced the launch of the blue revolution, which comes in the shape of their extremely sexy denim collection.

The all-new and innovation jeans are in fact designed to fit your attitude as well as you figure, which results in an extremely flattering wardrobe essential for all!

The collection has launched a total of six styles so far.  These six styles come in the shape of the Highkee 69P style, the Bootzee 0060D, the Flairlegg 0888Z, the Myguy 0668S and the Grupee8880I.

The Grupee envisions that ‘look at me’ attitude and is an easy style to pop on either day or night.  No girl can go wrong with this super sexy fit, which comes in a slim-leg style.  They also come in a few different shades including pearl grey, a black shade and a distressed wash.  These are certainly one pair of jeans that are guaranteed to make you the centre of attention on all occasions.

Thje Grupee 88801 jeans are priced at £210 and are available from any stocking the Diesel brand nationwise.

The classic straight cut, otherwise known as the highkee allows those that wear such a style to don their inner Marilyn.  The cut has been inspired by the 50’s and the slim straight cut legs and high waist give the wearer a sexy and curvy effect, emphasising your silhouette both front and back.

The Highkee jeans are also available from the Diesel brand.

The iconic flair is another look to invest in if you fancy taking a step back in time.  This infamous style seems to come back into fashion more than it goes out.  In order to rock that 70’s vibe to full effect, don the flares with your highest platforms.   The Flairlegg from Diesel offers a pair of jeans designed with the perfect flair and chino style pockets, complete with an unfinished hem.

Doing the bright thing

This season is welcoming colour with open arms, especially on the runway of Jason Wu.  The designer of the season opted to use MAC for his recent catwalk show.

MAC make-up artist Diane Kendall used an eye catching emerald green shade on the model’s eye sockets.  This was in order to pay homage to the Ming Dynasty.  This is exactly what Wu himself wished to create as he too paid tribute to the Ming Dynasty with his current collection.

Prabal Gurung followed suit and also sought the help of top-name make-up artists to create an emerald green feel.  Such a look is very eye-catching and really makes the eyes pop!

Charlotte Tilbury was the make-up artist in question.  She used a range of MAC cosmetics to create the look, which in turn resembled a scarab beetle inspired effect.  Dual tone green was used with a hit of blue on the eye sockets.

Other designers that really went to town on the make-up front included Estee Lauder.  The high fashion house had the help of the colour connoisseur Tom Pecheux.

Derek Lam smoked the eyes out using a deep purple shade.  The end result was something extremely dramatic that certainly turned a few heads on the runway.

If bright eyes are not your thing, why not opt for a bright lip instead!  These were showcased at the runway of Victoria Beckham and also at Thakoon.  Diane kendel was the make-up connoisseur in question and worked with matte acid blocks of colour in hot hues.

Both of the above designers have never taken this colourful road before, it certainly created an impact however!

Now we will just have to wait and see whether the Autumn shows follow suit and opt too for a paint box style of effects!  This is certainly the season to be doing the bright thing!  Head down to your local beauty counter today and get experimenting with a few different colours.

Fashion for the forward thinking

If you are really passionate about fashion, you will make sure you make an appearance at any one of the many Fashion Week Shows, wherever they be!  Fashion changes regularly, this is why a true fashionista is always on the ball.  He or she will know what to wear and when to where it.  They will also know when the latest releases from the major fashion houses are due.  A true fashionista will know the name of every collection at every label and a really passionate fashionista will know what number articles feature in the pre season look books.
Fashion however isn’t about being a sheep, nor is it about following the crowd.
Those that hold a naturally fashionable style will know how to wear things in order to make them a little individual.  Life would be extremely boring if every one went out wearing exactly the same thing in exactly the same way.  Fashion will only appear stylish if you know how to make it work for your exact body shape, height, fit and figure.
So what does this season have in store for us when it comes to the latest trends?  Well hot on the agenda is denim and not just any denim!
This season”s denim styles are a lot more than just interesting!
Take neon for starters!  Neon shades are popping up all over the runways in the shape of jeans, skinny trousers, denim shorts and cutesy hot pants.  Whether you opt for a variety of hues on one piece or quite simply just the one hot shade, you can guarantee to cause quite a stir in any one of the pieces available on this year’s runway.

Flouro denim will certainly add a little style to any girl or guys’ wardrobe this season!  No which ones to choose…
